An ancient varietal indigenous of the southern area of Piedmont, at the border with Liguria. Powerful, structured and with mineral complexity, it was almost extinct in the early 1980s but thanks to some producers, among which Borgogno, it has brought back to life. Among the most exciting Italian autochthonous grape varieties to surface in recent years, the ageing potential is one of its main characteristic

Grape: Timorasso

Appellation: Colli Tortonesi Timorasso DOC

Tasting: It is intense and complex on the nose: in the early years there are fruity smells reminiscent of pear, peach and floral smells such as acacia flowers. In the mouth is a dry, warm and with a good match between high levels of alcohol and high content in organic acids. The texture is balanced and very persistent

Alc: 15%
