Mainly produced from younger vines, it matches the footprint of the flagship wine of the estate of freshness, accessibility and flexibility with structure, balance and intensity. 2017 marks the 20th year from the first vintage in 1997.
In wooden box of 6 bottles
Grape: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot
Appellation: Bolgheri DOC
Tasting: The 2017 is plump, juicy and so seductive, with pretty floral and savory top notes that add a touch of freshness to balance things out. Medium in body and wonderfully inviting, Le Serre Nuove also has quite a bit of energy for the year. The Merlot was picked starting on August 24, which is very early, due to the hot vintage. This is such a pretty wine. "Vinous"
