The Azienda Agricola Prunotto M. has always grown cherries in the orchards of Alba, Langhe and Roero.
They are rigorously picked by hand several times in the season to respect natural ripening and to allow Prunotto to have a mature product at the right point. In this way they have a naturally sweet and excellent quality raw material that they work a few hours after harvesting, adding the natural "light" syrup made with water and brown sugar.
The result is a product preserved with the same characteristics as the fresh product with unique organoleptic properties and which enhances the particular flavor of the cherries, typically spring fruit but which is excellent preserved for consumption in the winter season, when there is not much fresh fruit of season.
It is a classic and evergreen preserved fruit, which reminds us of the one prepared for us by our grandmothers.
